Fee Refund Policy

At Roland Institute of Technology (RIT), we strive to provide the highest quality education and services to our students. In order to maintain the integrity and sustainability of our programs, we have established the following fee refund policy:

Policy Statement

Fees paid to Roland Institute of Technology are generally non-refundable. This policy applies to tuition fees, registration fees, hostel fees, and any other fees paid to the institution.

Non-Refundable Fees

  1. Tuition Fees: All tuition fees are non-refundable once the student has enrolled in the program.
  2. Registration Fees: Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  3. Hostel Fees: Hostel fees paid for accommodation are non-refundable, regardless of the duration of stay.
  4. Miscellaneous Fees: Any other fees paid to the institution, including examination fees, library fees, and sports fees, are non-refundable.

Exceptions

In exceptional circumstances, a partial refund may be considered at the discretion of the administration. Such circumstances may include:

  • Medical Grounds: If a student is unable to continue their studies due to severe medical conditions, a partial refund may be considered upon submission of relevant medical documentation.
  • Administrative Error: If an administrative error results in an overpayment of fees, the excess amount may be refunded.
  • Course Cancellation: If a course or program is cancelled by the institution, a full refund of the paid fees may be provided.

Refund Request Procedure

  1. Submit a Request: Students seeking a refund must submit a written request to the administration detailing the reason for the refund and providing any necessary documentation.
  2. Review Process: The administration will review the request, and the student will be notified of the decision within 30 days.
  3. Refund Processing: If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 45 days from the date of approval.
