Roland Institute of Technology (RIT) was established in the year 2002 by the Roland Educational and Charitable Trust (RECT) to promote quality technical education for rural students in South Odisha. The sprawling campus spread over 25 acres, is located at Surya Vihar, Golonthara, Berhampur, and is well-connected by East Coast Railway and NH 16 facing the gate.
