Roland Institute of Technology is selected by IIT Bombay as a resource center for conducting courses on open source software training and provides Spoken Tutorial Project training to various institutes and degree colleges in Odisha. The current project “Spoken Tutorial Project” is a national mission on education through ICT, MHRD, Govt. of India and the project is being managed by IIT, Bombay. Professor Sunil Kumar Nahak from MCA Department and Professor Sanjit Kumar Acharya from Computer Science engineering department are conducting this project in our college.
As a part of the training program in the first phase we are conducting open source software training workshops free of cost at different colleges such as
- Roland Junior College in the month of July
- Roland Institute of pharmaceutical sciences in the month of July
- Roland Institute of Computer and Management Studies in the month of July.
- MITS, Rayagada in the month of August.
